The heavier flywheel requires more force too set in motion and is more resistant too slowing down. On the other hand, the lighter flywheel will rev quicker and be easier too stall. The lighter flywheel will probably make more power too a small degree due too less reciprocating weight....or parasitic loss. The crank exerts force upon the rod / piston from the side, actually trying too push the piston through the side of the cylinder. I would predict, too a small degree, less cylinder wear with the lighter crank due too less force exerting on the rod / piston and potentially more reliability....asuming the job is professionally done by someone knowledgible with this process.
Stalling would be my primary concern with this mod......in stock form the Raptor stalls easy already.

I allready have the titanium rod, I realize the Rappy stalls easy but if I can gain on the holeshot for TT racing it would be worth the risk of stalling. I run the idle a little high to help compinsate for the stalling and don't seem to have the problem.
