future raptor mods...

Default future raptor mods...

im planning on getting a K & N filter, yoshimaru pipe, jet kit, what can i expect outta these mods and is it worth the money?

Expect an average of about 5hp over stock gain and yes, it's well worth it. You might want to start looking at extended swing arms also because your gonna get front end light all the time once you put the pipe on.

ill have around 600 bucks by the time i get my new rappy, if im even getting that i may be getting a yfz450, but im still confused on what to get, all ive heard from the 450 is it cant be caught up to...unless the other quad has alot of money put into it

yes its well worth the money. the extended swingarm may be nice, but unless you are draggin' you will need axle, shocks & a-arms first. (after the hp mods of course, lol)

if you get a K&N i'd suggest taking the lid off it'll help alot. JMO

if u take the lid off mud, water etc. will get through it, which will not be good, i will very likely not be removing the lid

take the lid off if you want to maximize your sport quad. If you are riding in terrain that requires the lid you will not be likely to need any more power anyways. In that case invest your money in handling. IMHO.

well you can take the lid off if you are in dunes but if not yes i would leave the lid on, not sure what you ride, but it is nice to have the lid off when you are in the dunes, more air the better.
