How many links on a stock Raptor chain. Do aftermarket chains come longer than you need so that you have to have a chain breaker to get them the size you need. I didn't know buying a chain would be so difficult. How is an O-ring chain better than a non O-ring, and what is an X-ring chain.

 

To answer part of your question the raptor comes with 92 links (btw, its a 520 chain too). I had my rockymountainatv catalog handy for that one. You can buy as many links as you want so you dont have to break the chain.

 

I just received a chain I bought off e-bay. It's an O-ring chain for a Raptor (520 x 98 link)
I only paid $35 for it, so I hope it's ok. Anything is an improvement for what's on there now.
