Default YFZ dead spot

Anyone have a dead spot on there YFZ right on the bottom end when they goose it. Let me know some ideas if you know how to get rid of it. What main jet is everyone running and at what altitude. If you put in a K&N does it require you to jet up much. I am running the GYTR needle in the 4th position and 170 main. I live at 5000ft

if your talking about the dead spot when its idling and you gun it while its in neutral, well your not going to get it completely out.this is the nture of the fcr carb,if younotice when you are riddingit you donthave e ded spot.turn up the idle alitt, and adj.the air screw one eighth turn plus or minus from three turns out, leave the jetting stock unless you installed a slip on or mod the air box

sounds like your pilot circuit is a little lean. maybe go up one size pilot jet or out on the fuel mixture screw. just dont go past 3 turns because it could fall out. if its popping on decel its definetly a lean pilot. i went out 2.5 turns on the screw and most of the popping went away.
