What quads wil lthe banshee lose to in a drag race??

 

It depends on the situations.... stock machines .... acceleration drag race or all out top end race ....

I dont think anything will SMOKE a banshee on top end but I think a DS the new 450 and the atc250r and maybe cannondale (not sure their top speed) could beat it. Alot of other quads would be close but I dont think they would beat it.

 

Maybe cannondale? the programable fuel injection should make it obvious that the cdale is definatly one of the quads on the list there is a reason the cdale cost $10,000.
The banshee is what bout 20 years old so i dont think its gong to hang with these race ready quads today (ie cdale, yfz450). As for hangin with the raptor, ds650, predator, ect. it will easily. the banshee has the same hp as the raptor, correct my if im wrong i think its 36 hp, and the banshee is lighter. so i do give credit where credit is due.

The only Cannondale that cost 10,000 was the full MX version. The others cost about 5,800, 6,900, 9,700 and 10,500. I paid a little over 7 for my Speed.

You can pick up a Cannondale for around 4,000 to 5,000 Brand new on E-bay.

the banshee will smoke by a DS650 whit yoshimura pipe and dynojet... but the banshee will stock... the new 450 yamaha beat a banshee on drag races.... fort the cannondale... i don't say

 

did you guys hear about the new honda 450 to compete with yfz 450.. dont know link.. but has similar body lines as yfx 450

 

really as low as 4 grand new is that because they went bankrupt? still the question was would it smoke a banshee and seing as the moto440 was of the showroom floor that way it would qualify as stock. so stock for stock the comparison is apples and oranges imo. the banshee is what 6grand and a moto440 is 10.5, carb vs programible fuel injection. so the cdale should smoke the banshee off the line and in top end if not im buying a banshee tomarrow. also if i rember right the differance betwene the speed 440 and whatever one it was below it was an 11k rpm rev limiter over the 9.5k or 10k whatever rpm rev limiter also remember all the cdales had their programible fuel injection. then the speed and the moto was nerf bars, suspention, rims and tires, minus headlights any what ever else. the point is the speed had the same motor setup as the moto. so are you really saying a 20 year old design can keep up with your sweet race ready high tech cdale. Now dont yall stat thinkin im dogin yamaha the banshee is sweet and very fast just old and out dated even if it was ahead of its time. and now that cdale is bankrupt i think the other companys should copy cdale and start puting fuel injection on there machines.

 

smitty - its crazy how cheap them cannondales are going for on ebay. There was a brand new one in the crate that went for like 4500 bucks. I wish I had about 5000 grand layin around cuz you could get a real nice dale for that.
