Lol, my GMC Safari with the 4.3 liter vortec engine hit 118 on the highway, didnt have a limiter though, thats just as fast as she'd go. But it rode real nice. It was in over drive, so it was only pushing like 3000 rpms.

I did 143 in my on honda civic. And 128 in my chevy with hypertech also. We did over 160 in a 300z twin turbo.

I did 155 in my LX 5.0 and it was scary. (stock 145mph speedometer was about 10 past 145 LOL)

At those speeds the front end wants to fly and the wipers are about 2 inches above the windsheild floating there hovering. The white dotted lines are as solid as the solid ones. I was 18 then, 11 years later I wouldnt think of doing that again. Especially with the cords on the tires showing like they were.

The fastest I've been so far is a little over 160MPH in my modded Cobra. It was perfectly smooth and stable. I've calculated the top speed on my 727 but I've never done it. 22" tires and stock gearing put it around 102MPH.

 

1980 Datson 210... top speed 75 mph... u wouldn't believe how much it shook!
