Warrior clutch lever HELP
#3
2003...thats the same thing i'm thinkin'. The Warrior lever doesn't or shoudn't be that tuff. Or maybe the cable is pinched somewhere making it harder to slide..

i dont know of any other adjustment other than the length.....if u oiled it plenty then its gotta be pinched either that or u got some stiff @$$ clutch springs but on my warrior i aint got no problem pullin it in with 2 or even 1 finger

There are no adjustments. I found that a new clutch cable works wonders, if it was never lubed or lubed with the wrong stuff it will never be an easy pull. Also if you clutch basket is all tore up it will be hard and a little notchy.

on my yz80 the clutch cable was a little sticky so i used 3in1 oil
i put it in one end till it came out the other end it took more than a couple of drops actually i used alot
i think i got a little to much oil thought but its like i got a new cable.....even though its 20years old lol
i also used it for my pedel bike for the brake cable so far they all work great

just follow the path of the cable it should be curved nicely down to the clutch lever
if its got a sharp bend or an angle that would make the cable pull harder
i took my cable off and put oil in it and moved the cable up and down inside of the casing to get it lubed up good
