Default Raptor overflow

Are there any side effects to removing the coolant overflow bottle and hose on the raptors? I was thinking of removing it but wasn't sure if this would cause any problems.

Default Raptor overflow

The only problem I can think of is if there is an excess of mud or dirt on the radiator, the extra coolant will help keep the engine cool. Without the extra coolant, the engine can overheat and damage could occur...

The coolant in the overflow will not help if the radiator gets plugged up. The water in the overflow does not circulate with the water in the engine/radiator. It's purpose is basically to keep the radiator full. When the engine heats up, it pushes water into the overflow. When it cools back down, it pulls water back into the radiator.
