I am wanting to get a set of 22-12-8 Skat Trak Hauler 8 paddle double buff with the kevlar reinforced extreme paddles. Will they clear in between my stock foot guards or rub? One of the advantages of the double buffs is that they grow with centrifugal force as you accelerate, would they start to rub in the middle of a run? Thanks for any replies and advice.

Not sure,i am getting the 20 inch same style that you have,I doubt but my 21" geckos were very close. Thats the best tire for the set i run,i wanted more gearing selection and a better al around ride..

 

I have a set of 20-10-8 Haulers and they rub at high speeds. The heelgaurds show they've been rubbing. You should take a good look at yours first.

 

They will more than "rub" with those heelguards as they stretch

 

So I need to take my footguards off? How much and what is the best place to get the fender brackets? Thanks

 

UM performance has them, but I would still be skeptical that they dont grow so much you have to take your feet off the pegs. 22 is tall, especially when they grow.

 

Are you running an extended swingarm? I've got a +4 and my 20 10 10s have plenty of room.

 

I have a stock swingarm for now. Gonna keep it that way until I can't keep the front end down by standing on the bumper! lol

 

For some reason I think wshrdskin has 22s and a stock swingarm on his Raptor. You might try to PM him and see.
