Try Shreveport, we have low paying jobs, several "bad parts" of town, a high crime rate, casinos, etc...... then you drive for about 10 minutes and all you see is cow pastures, pine trees, gas stations, and lots of randomly placed water. Really though, if I were you I would consider Dallas TX or somewhere in TX. The jobs are good but the school taxes BLOW.

wshrdskin, your right, construction construction construction...Right now they are working on 1-15 south of Ogden, I-215 all around town, and it SUCKS. I -15 has been under construction in Provo-to-Ogden for about 7 years.

Here all this time I thought they left the orange barrels out on I-15 for decoration , they have only been there for 6 years . I also heard that they stager them at night for slalom courses for those late night drivers that get board ....lol... here in Vegas the I-15 is for out of towners , the side streets are faster to get around town . I think every major city has there rush hours .

I agree with Sandneck this place rocks. I'm in the Air Force stationed here on a civilian Air Force base. meaning there is a ton I mean a ton of jobs on this base for non-military. About 75% of the civilians here are retiring within the next 6mos. Which means about 25000 job opportunities. I've been offered jobs doing the same thing I do in the military. I work on 60 foot missiles. Can you drive a tractor trailer? Can you spin a wrench? Can you be a pencil pusher (administative work)? Could you learn how to drive a tractor trailer? The jobs are endless here. PM me if you have some question?
