Default 450F SAFETY WARNING!

All you guys with the new 450F keep an eye on the condition of your tie rods. We have had two locals snap the tie rods. One broke right at the outer ball joint, and one broke right in the damn middle. Neither was a result of a jump gone bad. The one that came apart at the ball joint broke the first time the thing was ridden while he was going straight on a smooth section of sand. He is very lucy to have gotten away with minor injuries considering he went straight over the bars and got drilled in the back in top gear. Just wanted to give a heads up, hopefully it is an isolated problem

dsracer: last time i checked the warrior, shee and rappy had horrible tie rods. Just this summer alone i have seen 2 warriors, 1 shee and 3 rappys with broken tie rods. Maybe i am just a lucky guy. Hopefully this doenst happen to me.

What are you doing to the VW motor...who's building it

gonna run tens on some 40x35.5 heads with a mild port and an engle 110 cam all backed by the ever powerfull Kadrons?

I spent a lot of time with VW's and had some quick ones but never that fast...I did sell my vert to my buddy who's got it in the 9's to date

From what I understand its one of the fastest in the nation right now

Sounds like you need to change them to Honda 250r tierods. Ricky Stator can maybe help!

I bent mine because of a jump gone bad. The yfz 450 tie rod is the same as the raptor one. I took one off my raptor and they are the exact same. I never bent a raptor tie rod in the 2 years i had mine and I crashed a lot.
