Wolverine wont rev when warm
#1
Have a wolverine that will run fine for a few minutes then acts like a rev limiter is kicking in. Any ideas?
I'm guessing an electrical problem. could be when engine gets warm or wet, not sure. I'm leaning towards warm.

How quickly is this problem occouring?
How long does it take before it cools to a good operating temp?
Have you had a valve adj lately?
Everything else bieng equall I'd say CDI if it cools quickly or PU coil if it takes a 1/2 hour or longer to return to proper running

After about 5 minutes of riding.
Takes longer than 1/2 hour to cool.
No work done to quad, new this year.
It's a friends quad and I only had about a half hour to look at it. Ran fine at first. And it was still acting up after waiting for it to cool for about a half hour.

Its probably the parking brake rev limiter. Its a safty feature of some sort. Im not sure how it works because I've never had to deal with it but there are a few guys on here who know how to fix it. Its a simple fix, sorry I dont knwo how to tell you. I remember them talking about it before, but I dont remember how they said to fix it. Odds are thats what it is.
