Warrior- flipped
#1
got back from 4 day fishing trip to find my '03 Warrior ruined. Handlebars bent, front axle bent, left front plastic broke, grab bar off, and front lights bent. I guess my sister took it out, but she isn't home to tell me what happened. Anyway, where is a good place to find parts? While i am replacing stuff, should I replace standard parts with better stuff? Where can I get all new plastic (custom colors)?
Thanks

Do you have insurance? If not try ebay but be sure of the parts you need. I'd drop it by a dealer and get a detailed list of parts to replace if they'll give you a free/very low cost estimate then buy the parts off ebay or a salvage yard.

For cheap ($) stock parts (lights) try eastcoastatv.com. Rockymountainatv.com would have the cheapest prices on aftermarket handlebars, fenders, front axle?? im guessing A-arm? if so they have good prices on extended a-arms. You can get a PRM grab bar for like $30 at rpm-atv.com.

i guess my sister took it out and was doing some jumps or something and came down and hit something... wasn't too clear... but at least her bruises are bad! A part of the frame (near the front) which is welded seems to be broken. maybe reweld it?? i don't know if that will work and i don't want to put a bunch of new parts on a crappy frame. Any place for new frames? i don't want racing but i do want a good condition, newer frame. after buying a 5k machine, i don't want too much used junk on it. it looks like i'll have to pay for all the parts. i have done atv work before, but never stripped a quad of all its parts. I want to do it myself to keep costs down. can i do this? any extra special tools? or manuels? my friend has a atv/snowmachine shop but is real busy. he might be able to check it all out after i finish repairing it to make sure it is all together right.
