Default Raptor hinson basket ?s

How difficult is it to put the gear from the stock basket onto a hinson basket and how do you do it? Just curious as I think my basket is nearing the end of it's useful life. I found a GYTR/Hinson for about $180ish but the swap of OEM parts has me wondering if it's gonna be a beotch or not???

It's not hard, just a little time consuming. You have to grind the heads off the rivets that hold the gear to the stock basket and then tap them through. The Hinson basket is threaded so the old gear and spring plate bolt to the new basket. MAKE SURE you use RED loctite, I've read that the bolts will back out without locktite and the GYT-R directions specify RED loctite. The stock basket is not press fit or anything, just bend the lock washer tabs down and remove the 30mm nut with an impact gun.

I saw a picture of a stock basket on here that had scuff marks on the outside edges from touching the case, my stock basket looked exactly the same.

Mine looks the same way too, but I couldn't really see where it was rubbing the inside at. Should I be concerned about this?
Knock on wood, my clutch basket and actuall clutch a still orignal and I don't have any problems.
