Default How do you say NO?

How do you say no when someone ask to ride your quad ? I don't mean to be selfish or anything. I just know from experience that people don't respect your stuff. I'll let some people ride that I know that will take it easy. I look at some of the ATVs that my buddies ride. They are all busted up, bent handle bars, busted plastic, bent wheels etc. When they ask to ride one of our ATVs, what do I say without causing any hard feelings? Anyone have this problem? What do you say?

NO! is the best one for me. Another one would be "The motor isnt running too good right now and i dont wanna have to blame you if something happens to it". Another one that i use often "Give me a $2000 deposit and you can ride it". no one rides my bike except for me, my brother, and if u have a bike and i see that you are a very good rider i might consider it.

I trusted a certin friend with my stuff and now I have no trust in him. I left my quad over at his house because there wasnt a good spot for it at my house. He ended up gernading something in the clutch which got metal shards all in the tranny and crank. Thats the last time I put trust in some one...

Moral of the story : Friends dont let friends drive their quad

I got a freind that I let ride mine becasue he lets me ride his shee. We've known each other for a looong time. I trust him very much thats the only way I let someone ride my quad. I've known him for about 6 years so. You can get the idea.
