would the light work if u put on kick start and took out battery...i guess it would if banshee doesnt have battery...does it???

 

Banshee's dont have batteries but the headlight is not very bright and I believe (not sure) that the headlight gets brighter the higher the RPM's are... The Banshee could use a battery to power those lights properly, IMO.

 

Banshees do not have batteries and the lights do get brighter with the higher RPM's any 2 stroke does because it runs off the stator. And thats how I'd imagine the YFZ would run is off the stator with the kick starter kit.

 

The YFZ would have a light with a kick starter. The ligth on it dosnt run off the battery. It does the same thing as a shee when the RPMs get higher the light gets brighter. From that it seems the YFZ also runs the light off the stator instead of the battery. I may be wrong.

 

same thing wit the blaster. but for the yz u gotta buy the aftermarket kickstart kit and put it on. it's not a bad idea

 

Prang 11 is correct. The YFZ 450's don't use the battery for lighting. That way, Yamaha was able to install a smaller, lighter battery in that ATV.

 

well i guess if your really a race enthousiast and maybe he just wants to put it on their is that so bad? and a lil more reliability. why do people always have to critize other people about their ideas [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]
