I have had a few tell me that the ignition system on a bombadier could use advancing and that the rev limiter engages too early. Has anyone tried an aftermarket CDI on a bombadier?

My buddy has and 01 DS650 with a Ron Woods CDI, He loves it. It got rid of the rev limiter all together, and changed his power curve (advanced the timing). Hope that helps.

I think I'm about the only one with the stock cdi on the forum lol!! Everyone has a different and I should have got that first before my pipe, power kit, and everything else cuz it really sucks hitting the limiter when your just getting into the fun!
