ATV Title

In New hampshire, the C.O. is worth as much as the paper it is written on. All we need is a bill of sale with the VIN # to get it regerstered or insurance. If you have a bill of sale, you should be able to get both.

Thanks everyone for the help. I went to my dealer today and they said that I need the vin# and they would do a lost title on it and they should be able to regester it as long as it doesn't come back stolen. So I'll see what happens

Since quad theft was getting out of hand, there was a federal law instated in July, 2001, that said all quads had to be titled. If you bought one before that date, or bought a used one manufactured before that date, it won't have a title, unless you bought it in a state where they were required.
You can have an untitled quad titled. You have to take it to a county inspector, and they will title it for you, unless it comes up hot.
