I'd like to get a new Blaster for a 2nd quad, but the few Yamaha dealers I spoke with didn't want to budge on the $3000 MSRP. In fact, they wanted about $50-200 over MSRP + tax. Is this normal, or can you get them under MSRP? I'm assuming Yamaha will continue the Blaster in 2001.

Just a thought, you should be able to find a 2 year old used blaster for $2500 or less with the mods a blaster has to have, i.e. pipe, tires and ram valves

there are usually lots of used blasters for sale at www.traderonline.com

I got my 2000 Blaster for FREE!!! How do you like that? I finally decided that I really DID want a riding bud so I RETURNED IT. You see, I live directly across the road from Blastermaster. One day the chap left it in the OPEN basement with the KEY IN IT. I decided that even though I had a broken hand and CAST on my arm at the time; I HIJACKED IT, rode it around our track(SLOWLY). My only MESSUP was I left my '96 Maxima in plain view. After his initial, "OH S**T!!!!", he noticed my car and KNEW WHO HAD IT. Just thought our pals on ATV Connection may get a laugh from this. : ~ )
