im leaning to the yfz450 but i like the pred for handling and premium accesories already on it, and the raptor for reverse, i dont race (yet) just jumps, and trails and impressing my friends what do you guys think?

if your planning to race at all i would go with the 450. for trail riding i would say the raptor.
just try them all out and see which one u like best. there is no wrong decision there all good quads it just depends which one fits you best.

I ride the YFZ in the sand and I'll tell you that in terms of pure get up and go, the YFZ is the bike. Actually, it's kind of uncomfortable - I get lots of looks when I'm riding @ the dunes. There are a few reasons for this:
1. It's a new machine
2. It's a fast machine (for a quad)
3. My riding pants show more crack that a 300 lbs plumber
scrambler123 is correct though - try 'em all and see which one suits you best. If all the machines are new, bear in mind the basic mods required to bring them "to life" and what that does to the machine. If you want fast though, I honestly believe that the YFZ (free mods and piped) will offer the most.
Honest question: What makes the Raptor a good trail machine? Is it the reverse? I don't understand how a higher-sprung, heavier machine is better. Again, that is not meant as a slam - I'm brand new to quads.

I'd go with the 450 you can take it easy with it at first then when you get better with it you dont need any mods really to hit the big jumps. The suspension and handling is great on them. And the power and speed is definatly there.
