i used to think that all polaris quads were junk. until i went to little sahara with gregv and rhondav. my banshee crapped out on me. lucky for me, they had the foresight to bring a third quad with them. so i got to ride a scrambler x with the 500 h.o. in it.

yeah- it's not as fast as my banshee. but it took me up every dune i wanted to go up. i even jumped it on accident. that is a big quad to jump, let me tell you. so in a nutshell- polaris saved my riding trip. they may not be the fastest. but it was pretty quick for a big bike like that. so my polaris-******* days are over.

2004- every manufacturer makes quads that are lemons. not all of them are, but they do exist. it seems that you just have some crap-*** luck. i am sure that if you took a poll, there would be many more happy polaris owners than unhappy ones.

For all you Polaris owners, they are not my favorite but two of my riding buddies have Scrambler 400's with some mods done to them and they are starting to put the smack down on the 400 ex's, and they both have more potential and will soon be keeping up with some of the bigger bikes!

And I am starting to see alot better and faster running predator's. So in my opinion Polaris is really starting to step up if you compare to what they use to offer!

those hot-rodded scramblers will get it! i raced on rhondav's when we were out at litlle sahara. that thing rocked. i beat her husband on a trinity 686 raptor out of the hole and until he got into 3rd gear. it really surprised me. of course, the top end is where greg passed me, but hey- we should have raced for 300 feet. it would have been tough to catch.
