Mine was doing this, also. My intake valves were too tight, so make sure and adjust them. I also bought UPP intake manifolds for $100. THEY ARE GREAT! Sometimes I can hear it backfire and they always hold. Get them and the problem will stop, I guarantee it.

Have you checked your valves in a while? How about your jetting? The two main problems resulting in blowing off of the stock carbs are either a lean backfire, or more often it seems the valves are out of adjustment. The intake valves on the raptor like to tighten up and allow combustion to blow past the valves into the intake boot. Try these two and see if it helps. With everything in adjustment, you should have no problems keeping the carbs in the stock boots. Don't just go out and get an aftermarket set of boots. If it is backfiring, you have a problem that needs to be fixed before it causes further damage.

mine blew off
I richened the bottom end, and set the idle a little higher (based on other peoples advice from here)
used a better set of hose clamps (not too tight)
no problems in a year
no stalling either (which can also damage your one-way gear)
