What about the whoops? Would it make you faster through them? Sort of. It willl not make the bike run any faster, however it would allow you to run at a faster rate without losing control due to the suspension taking more of the beating and allowing you a smoother ride. I don't know anyone who tries to drag-race through whoops though.

yeah that will work. Over a glamis there are whoops at the start. But that draggin on a hill. that's where I was coming from. I don't ever really drag on flat. so for me wider would make me faster not the bike. thanks for the reply.
