Default YFZ Free Mods Procedure

Can anyone tell me how they have performed the free mods on the YFZ, as far as what jet to adjust for the baffle and air box lid being removed and was the air filter replaced? I have a good idea of how to do it, I just want to see if anyone is doing something different that might be better. Thanks

I have left my YFZ stock but almost everyone (under 3000 feet) I've seen post their jetting after taking the lid off and going no baffle or aftermarket exhaust and cam mod say: 165 main jet, 45 pilot jet, 3 position down from the top on the needle and 2 1/2 turns out on mixture screw. I believe this may be the suggested settings from the GYT-R jet kit although I'm not positive.

Allow me to point out that there is no such thing as a free mod and while ripping apart the stock exhaust makes the bike sound better and run a little more open, the detrement to your valves will be the cost of this mod. Modification of parts should only be done if you fully know what you are doing. Simply jerking the baffles out of a stock exhaust does not make it the same as an engineered aftermarket exhaust. Mods aren't free. You'll either pay for the mod parts or for the replacement parts a shabbily done mod will cost you. Okay, I'm off my soap box now. Sorry.
