Good work. Don't know what a "Stage 3" DS consists of, but if that YFZ get's his launching down (or if the DS don't jack him next time), the DS is gonna need to get a "Stage 4" done. Same for the 720.
That 'lil 450's got some umph and is surpris'n a bunch o' folk. Lot's a smack 'bout what the 450 cain't do, now some vids about what it's a do'in.
What were the YFZ's running? Stock? Airbox mod and sparky out? Not a ton of options left after those! Who the hell's the pilot on the white YFZ? Guy's got it figured out.
That CRF fitted EX was a rocket. Glad I gots one of dem - in the bike form of course.

Selector, I think your blinded by the love of your machine. Someones got to start, the DS was the one to start first that time. It's not like there's someone standing there flagging. We (my brother and I) usualy wait for someone else to take off. That particular YFZ would have lost regardless. Trustme, there were plenty there that beat that same DS.
Mr45auto, As for the 720 DS. The rider weighs 300lbs. Enough said on that one.
I didn't talk to any of the YFZ guys. It was obvious they were all in various stages of mod all the way to alky. It was obvious that the white YFZ were mostly the fastest. The fastest YFZ was a blue one that I believe was the ESR on alky. If memory serves.

I will have to admit that prollly the only reason I got that yfz was because of the ridder. Not the yfz
The yfz is very, very impressive.
As far as what a stage 3 DS is. Piston, cams, larger valves, larger carb, port work, stock bore. Oh and 480lbs plus my 205
All i know is i like to line up with the fast bikes....I was wanting to line up with the yfz's

Yes they were moded in various degrees. I saw a couple that apeared to be stock. They didn't do as well obviously but did well enough to be in the race. I didn't see the blue one on alky that my brother saw. But I saw plenty of fast white ones. Not sure of there mods. But one of the ridders had on a sparks racing t-shirt. His bike was real fast. Prolly 4 bikes in front of me every thime. The majority of the other white ones would get me off the line by a bike and we would stay that way to the end. I will say that the ridders all looked to be 175lbs or less. Even at that. The yfz is a sweet ride.
