SPORT OR UTILITY???
Well, if trail riding is what you will be doing mostly, especially casual riding, I would recommend a 4x4 utility because you have much more freedom in where you can go with ease. To me the decision between the raptor or grizz would be do I want to go really fast or do I want to go anywhere pretty fast? Is the 700 vforce 4x4? i forget i have read about so many new quads. As you can see by my choices I am much more interested in going wherever I wish rather than going fast. The v force does seem to be a pretty nice quad. There are several atv mags out this month and last month with features on the v force....

SPORT OR UTILITY???
I was in your same shoes about 6 months ago and ended up buying a honda 200 utility beater for $450 and quickly got tired of it and then got a warrior. It is really nice to have both but I must say I rode my warrior MUCH more until it died and I was forced to ride the utility. If you have a family and want them to ride with you, get the utility. If you ride mostly alone, get the sport.
good luck

SPORT OR UTILITY???
Get a Raptor. I had an 02 Grizzly with 27" ITP 589's on c-series wheels, HMF exhaust and k&n filter. It was fun being able to go anywhere with it but that was about it. I sold I and got a Raptor and I havent even though about my Grizzly since. Its so much more fun jumping, doing tricks and riding fast. You can only do so much with a utility then it gets boring.
