How to measure axle alignment on Raptor?
#1
I ran the 22" Holeshots yesterday for a trail ride and noticed that the left rear tire was a little closer to the heel guard than the right, maybe 1/2". When I adjust the chain, I eyeball alignment and snug down the cross bolts believing the swingarm is square enough to self-align the axle. After the cross bolts are snug, I tighten the adjusters until they touch and then crank down on the cross bolts. There has to be a more exact way to measure the axle alignment, anyone have a trick (besides a new swingarm:-). Thanks!

Evidently your too young to have lived in the days of the early Novas and having the pleasure of driving behind one watching it go down the street almost sideways because the rearends were so far out of alignment.

I still see some novas driving down the street like that sometimes, and I still think its the funniest thing in the world!

That's funny!
Measuring the ends of the axles to a common point on the frame and the farther forward that you make this point the more acurate.
