Default Timing key for raptor

I need to know if putting an off set timing key in a stock raptor will help run better? We are going to try to race on flat track next week.It is a 1/2 mile track and very fast. What do you have to do to put the new key in? And do you need any special tools?Need all the help i can get.

Default Timing key for raptor

ive heard that the timing key in a raptor helps very little. because the raptors timing is allready 34 or 32 degrees(one of those numbers i think), which is where it puts out the most power(just what i heard). if you advance it more, you wouldnt see much of an improvement and if you retard it you wont see much of an improvement. but, if you do get one, you need a flywheel puller and thats the only special tool you'll need.
