Bassetboy get the whole package WITH PORTING its well worth it. The whole combo is a huge gain!

i am also intrested in gettin my motor built by them, is the 686 the biggest yall go? i have not seen anyone with anything larger, i wanted to know how much it would be for one of your top of the line 686's and a set of fcr's and a mbrp drag pipe? and how much would shipping be from nc to where your at. thanks in advance

They build bigger, I belive 720 also, and maybe even larger than that.

how come no one has onei do mainly flat dirt drags 400ft, so does what would everyone recomend a 686 for the rev or higher say 727 for the torque?

Don't take this as gospel but I think the 686 is a much more durable motor, as it will last longer longevity wise. It requires a simple bore for the piston but no oversize cylinder/sleeve or anything like that. The bigger motors require a new sleeve and all of that stuff. With the 686 you can do everything. I think the bigger motors are more purpose built. BUT< I COULD BE WRONG so anyone feel free to chime in.

I haven't seen any evidence the 727 is any less reliable. The 727 does cost much more than a 686 though to do it right, it also involves total teardown of the motor instead of just removing the top end. Craycraft will do any motor you want, just give Bob a call and he'll work everything out with you [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
