Default Need help--Warrior Air box

I just rplaced my stock carburator (36mm mikuni) with a 38mm kiehn. I just ordered it and the company I ordered it from said it was a straight conversion. Well I had to do some modification for the throttle cable and it seems like it is going to rub on the bottom side of the gas tank but that is not my main problem right now. I need to find an adapter or a new air dam on the back side of my carb to the airbox, the old one is to small. Where can I find this? I cant run it untill I get some kind of air filter on it. Need help bad. Thanks to anyone who might have some info.

You should be able to shim up the back of the gas tank to clear the carb, and if the boot to the carb is not too far off, you can heat it up with a torch or a heat gun and stretch it on, then when it cools,it will stay at the bigger size. If it is too big to expand out that size, you'll have to rig up something, maybe with some preformed radiator hose that will fit the box and carb.

I bought it at Dennis Kirk. I bought the carb., a K&N air filter, a front and rear sprocket. for $325. The carb. also came with a twist grip throttle but I dont like them on Quads.
