Did they fix the tranny problems in 03 and 04 ?

 

tranny prob's were frixed after 01

so the 02's, 03's, and 04's are all fine

 

Depends on who you ask. Ask Yamaha and there never was a problem with the tranny in '01.

Rider error is thier reply?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Local shop owner told me the other day he has only seen 1 '03 tranny failure this year compared to 3-5 a month the last few years.
