What the hell does 'alky' mean. I hear this alot in drag racing but dont know what the hell it is.

I believe it means that they are running on alcohal in the enigine instead of gas.

alky is alcohol. Many drag racers use alcohol instead of racing gas because it generally runs the motor much hotter than gas, giving more performance.

It means running on alcohol for fuel.
