What do you guys think? A YFZ/TRX 450 type chassis with a KTM 520SX motor? I think that would be pretty cool if KTM joined the world of 4 wheels. That motor is pretty insane.

Ktm, now where talking. ive always dreamed of Ktm making a quad. and i have one thing to say...."it is only a matter of time". ktm easily has the potential to make some nice quads. they already have great engines, just need to come up with a good quad frame. lol wouldnt it be awesome if or when ktm makes a 450 atv racer that puts the trx/yfz's to shame. i have faith in them, and i think it will happen eventually, who agrees?

 

if ktm would make a quad with the 525 motor in it i would be at the front of the line to get one

 

Whilst not an offical KTM factory effort, this quad used the 520 chassis with a quad front grafted on..................

I think they could make a really good quad.

 

Rath Racing already built one. Daryl was racing it before he switched over to the Predator. Dirtwheels done a feature on it about a year and a half ago. It looked pretty awesome, but I never did hear how he done with it.

there's a guy up here that has one he brings to the races, but never seen it run! it looks sweet[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I think its the 520 in a legar frame with full bore burn't orange 250r plastic.
