how fast does a yfz 450 actually go in mph or kmh. does it land smooth, wheelie easy.

landing is very nice, wheelies with ease but not like a raptor, im not sure about top speed.

 

a friend of mine got his yfz450 topped out beside my ds on highway going 77mph according to my gps. I rode it a couple times and wasnt impressed with it everyones been talkling like the 450s are the fastest thing out well onlything i liked was the revs the thing had and how low and stable it was otherwise my ds pulled right by her on the road.

 

The landing is good, and very controlable in the air, if you're pretty stong you could psuh the throttle and pull the front end easily. About top speed, that could be change with a $15 front sprocket, but I would guess between 70-75.

top speed ? who wants to ride around at top speed. its the amount of time it takes to get to the top speed thats fun

 

Top speed dont mean anything unless your dragging, or a very very long straight away. Especially on a Yfz which is made to have low end for MX.

 

not fastes, just quickest off line bone stock.

 

i had my yfz up to 80 according to my dads truck, he was following me at the dry lake bed near Vegas. it wheelies like a charm, i think a bit easier than the raptor, but thats just me, and landings are very nice esp. once you have the suspention dialed in properly for your riding style, and weight.

 

well we all no they dont go 80mph.... everyone i have told about my friends going 77 wasnt to sure about it.. And who wants to ride around top speed? me, guess thats one of the reaons i got the ds but for sure the yfz kicks *** on the track and take off wasnt to fast against my ds but the guy was 240 and had bald *** tires

 

yea, my dads trucks speedo is prolly off a bit, u kno the whole, gotta have 40" tire bit that some guys have, i dont think he had his speedo recalibrated
