Default Most underated bike????

Now i may be behind teh times a little but why are the Cannondale's prices so low right now. I know they went out of business and everything, but these are great bikes.

Fuel injection was a major break through in cars and now we have them in quads!!!!

I say pick one up while ya can before they turn into the new 250R.

I just wish i had about 4000$to drop right now.

Cannondale prices are low because since they are no longer made, aftermarket companies aren't going to get the demand for parts that they would have if newer models came out each year. As an example....ATC's where once hot sh*t, but now that they are no longer made, you don't see many companies offering replacement or aftermarket parts. The demand isn't there anymore...

Dinli has announced that they plan to make the Cannondale quads again within a year. ATK also has something up their sleeve, but now they have a huge parts inventory and are working on producing new parts. Parts is in no way a problem. I bought my 03 Blaze (MSRP $10,500) for $4600 about a month ago. There isn't a better deal anywhere in the ATV industry. If you can get $3500 together I think you can find a new Cannibal out there somewhere. If you do the updates that are required they seem to be as reliable as any high performance machine. And for $3500 nothing even comes close, new or used. JMHO

The most underated bike is the Ds 650. Everyone complains about its size and weight but it always seems to come in first at finish line.

Must not be any Cannondales in your area.

Actually theres a bunch of them. I never said the cannondale was slow just that ds was the most underated bike out there. Ever magazine talks bad about the ds in one way or another but the ds is the fastest factory built 4stroke quad built. No disrespect to the cannondales or any other quad.

Fastest in way of top speed or in way of a 300ft drag or in way of a MX lap time with equal rider?

I think the 'Dale has you in at least 2 of those 3.

The reason I say they are underrated is because you didn't see much hype of them in the mags, never hear much about them, they are fairly rare, and now cheap as all getout. Everyone knows the DS has a nice high top speed, so I don't think of that as underrated. Plus, everyone also knows that it comes stock with ungodly amounts of suspension travel front and rear. I think it gets the hype it deserves, from what I've seen, other than the mags whining about its size (and in comparison, it is big). The 'Dale however, gets little to no hype, and is quite a machine, especially for the prices they are selling for at the moment.
