rapfam- it is just a pile of bolts. first item of busness is to send rod out. Most of the parts are here. Race gas only. no additives cause i would only screw it up. dsmike sucked his bowls dry before he could get to the top of the hill. Most of us that went out there from TX/OKLAHOMA?MISSISSIPPI had no idea that sand could stack that high. The higest dunes around our parts might be 50 feet. I watched for quite a while before i ever went to the top. Then i waited for a while to come back down. lol

 

What's with all these Raptors on the bottle,nitromethane, etc. Sure, anybody can make major H/P that way. What ever happened to running built motor against built motor, that's the only real true H/P measure, looks like ya'll ran out of R&D and sacraficed,just my 2 cents, take it for what it's worth.

 

He's running a 20hp shot of nitrous, that will not pick your times up much. Running out of R&D would be more like throwing a 50 shot on there just to pick up the times. This was the maiden voyage of the motor with minimal tuning, once it's tuned in and he's used to it I'm sure it will be as fast on just motor as he ran with the nitrous. I have yet to see or hear of any 4 strokes with the original motor running those kind of times, so it looks to me like the R&D is there

 

They throw nitrous, turbo's, and exotic fuels at the 4-strokes just to make them run worth a crap.

 

XR650Warrior did you race any 686 Craycraft Raptors yet? I heard you got beat by one or two of them already and they run just race gas. I will be up and running in three weeks and just 20 miles south of you towards Galveston and I run race fuel nothing else.

So come on down and see what the Warrior has to offer! Just want to meet another forum member that is close to me finally!

 

xr650...what was wrong with the original warrior motor? Not enough? Same thing.
I was running alcohol at Sandfest...do my wins not count now because I wasn't running race gas?

 

I ran a 2.5 down olds at night[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Get us some time slips from a Certified track NHRA or ASDA if these guy's won't endorse a track it's flying sideways but thats what i would exspect craycraft to do and bla bla bla bla !!!

 

after my build i am hoping to get into the LOW 5's like a 5.2 maybe?i am running 5.49's now at TSD and i should be gaining anywhere from 6-9 bike lengths on what i am doing...and about 8 HP...how much do you think that will improve my time Mark???any idea?
