Default LRD jetting

With an LRD pipe and SixSixT's no-airbox bracket w/ dual K&K filters... what should i be jetting in the ballpark of? And what kind of kit do you suggest for jetting? Is it easy enough for a fairly skilled wrench turner to perform, or should i just take it to a local bike shop? [not the dealer... $64 per hour is STEEP] Any good websites w/ step-by-step instructions, preferably with pictures?... And if there is another pipe under 500 [i want it NOW, and thats all i have in my pocket, and my yoshi just got SMASHED in a "sick" no hander wheelie performed by my friend... yes i kicked his a$$] that would give me better results [Sparks?] let me know, i havent ordered yet.

Jetting is easy...not much too it...try it yourself, you'll be glad you did and you'll feel good knowing that you did it.....I'd say you'd probably be jetting somewhere around 165-170, or 170-175...just my guess..

Go with LRD pipe since I have one. If you do decide to get LRD pipe, Also order the Dyno jet kit from them too that made with the pipe set up. Just follow the instruction and it really rock....

Since I did minor upgrade to the motor I had to buy main jets from Dyno since LRD didn't have it in the kit since it was higher then what they had in it. By calling Dyno jet it was 2 dollar a piece. Now I am running 190/195 in my bike.

Well, the only thing about my decision LRD vs. Sparks is that K&K offers the LRD and i can get a good deal, and if there wasnt a SIGNIFIGANT difference between the two pipes, then i would like to stay with something i can get from my sponsors. And i have no clue as to what elevation im at... but im in central North Carolina... So im guessin somewhere between sea level and the mountains... haha ... ill get the numbers for elevation if you need it to give me a good idea of what jets i should use. I know ive heard of Main jets, Pilot Jets, and the Needle, but im not 100% sure what they exactly are. Could someone explain what each one of those are and about where they are on the carb please? And about what range of jet sizes come in say, the K&N or Dynajet kit? Thanks guys, i can always count on the forums for answers...
