My best friends older brother had a 87 250r when I was 13...when he wasn't around we would get on it and act like were riding it...I never did get to actually ride it, but that's when my love affair for quads began...

 

In 1967 I rode a neighbor's 2 1/2 horse mini bike. Hooked me right there. The rest is details.

 

Grew up on a dairy/farm, 'round here everybody uses a quad to get around and change water. Naturally it looked fun...my first ride was on big blue honda (had a pull & electric start I believe? My grandpa bought it for the workers)...from there I got an LT80 when I was in the third grade...you get the point.

 

I Met a pretty girl that liked to get MUDDY!

so for my 41st birthday, I bought myself my quad and followed her into the mud puddles (or the dunes) She even lets me borrow her truck when she can't go, What a friend!!!!!!

never owned anything else like this (bike or quad) but I can see I'll be riding until I have to rig a wheel chair for trails! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

A couple of my friends had them and I thought they were a blast to ride so I got my 1st one about 3 years ago.

 

It was Tears for Fears "Everybody wants to rule the world" video with the wheelers out in the sand.

well i got into dirtbikes when i was about 4 i think (that didnt last long) when my dad bought me a used yamaha YZ50, and i had that til i was about 8 i think. then we sold that and my dad got me a used yamaha badger 80. i had that til i was 12 and sold it to get a new honda recon 250, had that til i was 15 and sold it for the '03 yami blaster that i currently have. somewhere between the recon and the blaster i got an '02 kawi KDX200 (dirtbike), which im gonna sell along with the blaster to get a banshee, kfx400 or a YFZ450.
