You know how much i love trinity[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] We saw thye crayola king in action, there is no way it is going to run a 4.28 or a 4.99. We traveled to the west coast to see and run the fast quads and came home knowing they had nothing on us in TX/OK.


I do not see much dune riding going on at LS. Lets make them all draggers. It would be cool to see Scooby, DSmike, The bom, Dollarbillz, Crafty, Bigger, The Bom (hell he has 12 quads) Dune devil , Jeffinthecity, Ryan, and 100 more quads bust off 4.2 or better. That would have 2strokes shaking. I have been going to the track for the last few years to get a sub 5 second run. Now we did it and it sounds like everybody can.

It is a SHAME that 'tuned" got stolen. I still think it was a local deal. Bury the compition and keep enemies in front of you. Hate to see a fast raptor dissapear.

 

I'm still looking for "TUNED" (not much hope left though[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]) I don't think "TUNED" would of been running any 4.2s in 300', but i think a 4.8 was possible. I have the NINSHEE that will make up for it < we'll just call it rebound love.


P.S. I think it's absolutely great that theres a Raptor running 4.2s. I just want to see the look it gets from the Shee guys< I'm sure their impressed.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

I do know one thing we all have in common , & that's the love of the Drag Race. It dosen't matter if it's on dirt, sand, 300', 660' or Hillshooting, it's all a blast. My advice is to line against anyone who will line up with you & let her rip. my banshee at TSD ran a 4.40 boggin aftre every shift, and bad tires.(thanks to roost.)

i had a crank bearing that went out and tore up the crank seal. Mike Brooks told me that day i was lean was the reason of it doping power that day. but it wsa from the seal socking the tranny fluid into the motor. both of my pistons are eat up, the top ring on both piston was stuck.

this motor fresh has only ran a 4.3 at atoka.



Mike brooks also told me the the raptor weighs around 270-280 and that he built the bottom end of the raptor that goes 4.2's. and i'm just wondering why ryans's 730 on NOS only goes 4.9's.


i was at TSD friday night to help a friend with his banshee. the clutch was broke so we loaded up and went home. i don't own a DS(steve) and my banshee is blown up.

the saturday thing was fun, that would be cool to do again. maybe i can have mine back together. its a 5+ hours drive for me to TSD. Atoka is racing this weekend. its only 2 and 1/2.

 

There are a few things different in my bike than kellys. Mine was a prototype..and it runs damn good. Kelly's is the new and improved 730. We're always testing new things in our motors..that's the fun part(unless it doesnt work LOL)

The clutch in my bike has over 200 hard passes on it..and Im sure It's broken(again)..Ill know this Sunday. Im also back on race gas..and I just slapped the carbs back together guessing on the jetting, how many turns out etc..and to my suprise it ran! Pretty good too, but I knew I was taking it apart...so I didnt bother getting it perfect. In essence, I was running a 7-10 shot with how much fuel it was dumping.
I also need a longer swingarm..where's it at Steve?!! LOL

steve no one is ******* you your bike is killer fast and alot of people from here know it is and have seen it run but you have to admit a 4.281 is fast as hell on a four stroke bike im sure that if other people went drag only on thier bike's there would be some new records set i know of more than ten bikes that have more motor work done than this bike but kelly set the hole bike up for only drag's not dune riding i dont think there are any bikes that can get a 1.5 60ft time with a dune set up bike. you can only leave the line so fast and keep the front end on the ground just like what the bom said you cant compare apple's and orange's so dont take it hard i was just using your bike to compare it too

 

i don't think you can compare my bikes times. the motor was blown up. and yes a 4.28 is very fast for any bike. 2 stroke or 4 stroke.


and your right alot of other bike are capable of running those same times with the same set up.

 

it will take more money than i going to spend to do it but i would love to see more bike go that fast (4 stroke's)
