Hey Guys And Gals,

I Have been looking around for a new 4-Wheeler and i have been looking at a Raptor or a Z400. Im about 6'1 240 LBS. I want a quad that is good for trailriding and having fun with but something that i can "Drag Race" for fun at some old stripmines. any ideas?

 

Considering your size I would go w/ the rappy or the bomb. The z is a nice quad but you will get bored quickly+its a little smaller than the rapter and the bomb.

Definitely Raptor....your not gonna be winning very much if your draggin a Z...

 

Yeah, I was on the yamaha site and lookin up some stuff 'bout the Rappy. I like the price drop. 6,499 to 6,199. Im a big boy and i want something that will "Grow" with me. I shouldent be getting that much bigger. I ride in southern ohio so its all alot of trails and hills and old mines. Is the Rappy dependable? will it last? I take great care of all my stuff and this is a big investment for a 16 year old kid. since I am paying for it myself. If I get this job i applied for i can have my Rappy within 4 months. So anything else i should know?

 

Well, if your as responsible as you say you are I don't think you should have any problems with it. Problems with anything usually arise from negligence. So as long as you keep it tuned right and not abuse it you'll be fine.
