Fall means huge walleyes here in Lake Erie country. Keep the rain, we've had three times our normal rainfall this year.

homer is the greatest. It has been like 55 the last two mornings and my blaster seems to have more ***** with the cool dry air that has overcome central texas. I hope we have an ice storm like last year. we don't see many of those down here but last winter I got to miss 2 days of school. It made for some fun riding.

Hey Alpha, I noticed you left earthquakes out???LOL, just messin with you!!! Yeah, winter storms can suck around here, but then I usually jump in the Jeeps and go see how much snow I can barrel through before I get stuck. Its also a great opportunity to pull out the snowboard and go hit the slopes!!!Can't wait!!!

AT the dunes in Oregon it means much steeper, softer sand ,and places where some riders fear to tread and very few quads on the dunes.

Diablo, It's funny that you mention earthquakes and that your from Indiana. I used to work with a girl from Indiana and she never felt an earthquake in her life. She had just moved to Cali and had been here for maybe a couple of weeks. I was working a weekend shift back then and we were working on 3rd floor of my building. All of a sudden the building starts shaking, things are falling, and she FREAKS OUT! I mean big time! She started screaming and yelling "OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!" while the rest of us were just standing around continuing with our work. She jumped under a desk and would not come out....I had to talk her down. She finally emerged from under the desk and she was a wreck. I was like "haven't you ever been through a quake?" ANd she was like "No, I'm from Indiana. We don't have quakes." I just started laughing. She eventually got over it and we ended up being really good "friends.".

There is nothing funnier than watching an adult experience thier first earthquake...I'm sure I'd use a couple explatives should I ever encounter a tornado...but there is NOTHING to compare to an adult freaking long after the shake is over.
