How do you remove stress marks out of blue raptor plastic? I did a search but no real answers, the stress marks are a light blue/white colour. I heard of heat guns or hair dryers doing the trick, anyone know how to get rid of them?Thanks

 

The Yam. blue plastics is the world's worst at doing this I think, I think it's a sure marketing technique to sell new fenders, put some white ones on it and it won't show up and probably look better too.

 

I also heard that hair driers and heat guns work, but I have not tried it.
It is worth a shot.

I used a torch with a little starter button. Dont leave it on there long about 1 second it takes some of the marks away i will try and use the hair dryer and see how that works.

 

Put a sticker over it.

 

I use a torch as well....Just be careful around the tank!!!!

 

I used a heat gun on my kids blue blaster trying to get out some of the scratches. What it does is dull the finish after it cools back down. I would say to attack the stress marks with heat but from underneath the fender.
