First I want to thank all you guys for your help in previous matters by just reading, so now I finally decided to join, I own an 02 b/w blaster with a few of my companies custom prod's on it, I am useing my quad as a project ATV for the business (Pretty cool huh [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img] )and will soon be a decked out toy to display and make a few big-bores cry [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Anyway I wanted to know what you thought about the DMC Alien pipes... any good? I also am considering the Toomey but liked the looks of the Alien better, I will have a P/P done sometime soon so considering that which one is better.

I bought toomeys..... and wouldnt buy any other pipe but toomeys. i think they are your best bet for the blaster.

 

the toomeys are a better pipe, they extract more power from the blaster, but are noticeably louder, which if im not mistaken makes the blaster exceed most sound regulations, so unless youre in an area that you dont think youll need to worry about getting cought, id stay away from toomeys, unless you want the extra performance. but, if its for a promotion for your company, i dont know if youll even be worrying about riding it at all, and if you do plan on riding it, you might not care about sound. then again, if it is YOUR bike, youll probably ride it. thats about all i can say. also, i dont know for sure if the alien pipes meet regulations either, but i think they do.

Thanks guys, what does the Toomey sound like, my friend has a fmf fatty and I almost like the throaty sound of the stock rather than the "ping" "ping" of his... will it add most of the power to the mid-top, if so how much lowend am I going to lose?

you will lose a little bit of bottom end with the toomey but it is well worth losing a little bit of bottom end for what you gain on the top end. all after market pipes will ping but the toomey sounds really throaty at idle.

 

I have a 03 blaster and im wanting to get a toomy pipe or a ct racing pipe im not sure but i need some help so can any one help me
