Not positive on this one, but I think it's 96dbs. They are VERY strict about db levels, and usually check everyone.

We were just there again, the law is 94, but they are allowing UP TO 98.

They "usually" check about every tenth or twelth vehicle thru, but only on Fri-Sun and on all holidays.

Last I saw it was 96 Dbs. It could have changed though.

eRaptoid is correct.
Ive been there 3 times this year and have been "randomly selected" for inspection each time.
94 db is the legal limit but they let people in up to 98db. The guy that checked me was cool, i was at 99db and he wrote down on my band 98db.
An aftermarket exhaust increases your chances of being "randomly selected".
They do check EVERYONE for spark arrestors.

Please note ..... checking for spark arrestors does not mean just poking or looking for a screen. It MUST pass the poke test and have the United States Forestry appoval stamped on the muffler ALSO

( been there done that.... was sent back to Ohio because my HMF ... with screen ... doesn't have the approval stamp )

so just bolt on your stock exhaust, and leave your aftermarket in the truck, and once your in , bolt the exhaust on.

"once your in" .... you are on the wrong side of the fence ! There are two "in's". The First "in" gets the truck/trailer into the parking lot .... the second "in" is the ATV driving past the check point . Can't get from the sand back to the truck without going back past the check point to get back on the sand

I thought it was 96db, but they let 98db on. My CT pipe read 93, not bad at all. Yes it is a random check, they do check every vehicle for spark arresters though. Trucks need a muffler, not a cherry bomb/turbo tube. They also check trucks, but it doesnt seem like its as often as the bikes and quads.
