Take a guess! we have to ride stupid four strokes so factories can dump smog into the air.

 

not doubting any1.. but how do you all know that they will be banned... all that have to do is says its a race only bike.. or put a really choked up pipe/pipes on it.. then it should pass emissions test. i dont think they will be banned.. unless i totaly missed an official statement of some sort..

 

they will not BAN 2-strokes, just stop selling them...by the way is that 1300 jet ski a 2 stroke...i doubt it, so don't worry about it.

what i am sayin is that i think they could still sell them... alot of companys will be screwed... yamaha will loose there blaster and shee... that will be a big hit on there business.

 

That's probably why they came out with the YFZ450..cuz they probably already knew this was coming....

 

they came out with the 450 because the pred and z400 were out... and yamaha had no race 4-stroke...

 

So like I said..they came out with the 450 for the Benjamins..not to make you or me or anyone else happy and certainly not because they didn't have a race 4-stroke..they did it for the green! That's why everything in this world is ever done..for the green!

 

yes creepingdeath the 1300 is a two stroke, i`m not stupid i can tell the difference between them

 

i 100% agree will the money thing.. but yamaha also wants to be the best... just like every1 else.. i still think the came out with it because the didnt have a race 4-stroke... every1 else does... so they did too to keep up with business... well.... and also to make more money.. thats why they charge so much... my buddy is getting one at dealer cost cause he works there and he is only gonna pay like 5300$ before taxes and ****.

 

Well, I'm gonna make em a little richer next year myself.....I'm buying one around February I think...
