All the motor suggestions sound great guys. I agree, any of them would be really cool to put in a YFZ frame. But it is pretty much going to be used for moto-x and dune riding. I don't drag race. So any of those motors really wouldn't be suited for my type of riding.

According to the people who tested it, the ATK 700 had so much torque it felt like a 4 stroke. It has a little carb and stuff on though so its mostly tuned for torque. Imagine what it could do with a bigger carb, lil porting. Prolly bout as much torque as a 400ex and a top end like a hayabusa.

Raptor has reverse, 4 strokes require less maintence, and electric start.
But the main reason I didn't buy the Shee is cause I hate it. I bought a brand new leftover 1997 Shee in 1998. I kept it for 3 weeks and sold it for a small loss. It just felt like crap to ride. I bought it on a whim and regreted it from the moment I hit the gas. At that time I was still all about racing bikes and catching huge air. But all my friends had quads, so I went ahead and got the shee. It was too slow, and it really sucked jumping it. And my favorite thing to do off road was jumping so it had to go. Also, theres just something about the "feel" of the Banshee power with its 2 cyls that really bugged me. Maybe it was just in my head, but it really felt weak.
That was then, and this is now. After a few severe injuries on bikes, I have calmed down. I quit riding all together for a couple of years and just decided to get back into it a couple of months ago. I bought the Raptor cause I wanted something to ride that wasn't too fast, but fast enough. Something that I could ease myself into the sport of ATVing with. The Raptor seemed like a good choice. And so far, I like it.

BTW, banshee is faster than raptor. Piped its alot faster. Modded its so much faster there not even in the same class. Maybe urs was messed up they do handle like crap though unless you mod the suspension.
