what brand of chain?
After trying a couple different makers, I ended up with a Sidewinder. If you look at the tensile strength, it is far superior to any other chain. You will pay more, but it is worth it. After long grueling trips to colorado, I had to constantly adjust my chain until I got the sidewinder. In my mind, money well spent.
