Paid 5200 out the door. it has full yoshimura titanium exhaust & k & n. It seems to spudder at low rpms, almost like my 250 r. Is that normal? I like to cruise in the bottom of fifth and it almost sounds like gas isn't getting to it but you hit the gas and it flys! any help on this is appreciated. also, when I got it home i noticed that there was no airbox lid and the lid helped the filter stay in place. I plan on getting an adaptor for no lid but i noticed that there was a 1/4 in hose coming from the top of the crankcase up to where i think it went into the airbox lid . when i plug the hose with my finger it idles smoother but i don't want to mess it up plugging it. i temporarily put a bolt with a hole through it to restict the air but I would like to know where the hose is supposed to go .

 

The bike should not splutter at low RPM. You might have a jetting problem or the carbs need cleaning. The hose is a breather hose to the gearbox and should not be plugged. This hose plugs into the intake of the airbox lid. If you are not running a lid, you can leave the pipe open. The best will be to install a small filter in this pipe, but never plug it completely. I noticed mine sucks dust into this pipe, hence the filter.
