Default Hello from the newbie

Hello people. I just bought an '04 Raptor 660R, and am new to this site. I am also new to quads. Did I make a good decision in buying the raptor? It is white & red (I think it looks pretty cool). I was told that it is supposed to be pretty fast, and reliable. I don't know a thing about engines, so if it breaks I will have to pay someone else to fix it. Also, if there is anyone here from Tucson, AZ., please let me know. I could use some advice on where to ride.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums! Good choice of quad. Since this is all new to you, I recommend your first purchase (besides safety gear of course) be a Raptor Service Manual. Read it thoroughly and learn the machine inside and out. Believe me, you will enjoy it much more if you can fix it yourself. And you will be a better rider if you know all about how the machine works. Plus, you'll save a ton of $$.

the only thing funner than riding my rappy...is cleaning and working on my rappy.

then comes throwing the wife a bang. hmmm. banging the wife on the Rappy would top it all. but the Rappy and the wife don't see eye 2 eye. Sad thing is...i love her so much...

the wifes not to bad either. lol

welcome aboard...good choice

Well, this thread went right into the gutter........my wife is the one who owns the raptor at our place. So, maybe if I get her to the back of the dunes........oops, now I'm there too.

Welcome to the forums, kid. We're really not this bad all the time...
