Hello

I am new at this.

I will be a casual rider. I went shopping today looking for a Warrior. I found 3 400ex's: 2001-2002 ranging from $3400-3795.

Found a 2003 Warrior at a Snowmobile shop and he would sell it for $3500...it is a 2003. Looks new. Even the fenders are still shiny. The tires even look new.

Is this something I should snap up?

Thanks
Steve

I am from NH.

I am in my 30's, use to ride when I was younger. I am just thinking of buying a fun moderate level sport quad to ride around when I get free time, which is rare. I was hoping to spend less than $2000.00 but I am a little picky. I dont want a trashed bike...

So a 2001 Honda 400ex for $3200, that is all serviced and nice is worth that price? Better than the Warrior?

Thanks
Steve

yup...if your really interested in a warrior. i have a tricked out 01 (the wifes) that i would sell for $3500. aftermarket shocks, pipe,ITP wheels, douglas rims. check out my pics. i live in Pelham. come take it for a ride. plus i'd give you the stock muffler tires and rims. the stock tires are studded up for the ice now. it also hs tag handle bars and hand guards. the engine has not been modded and she's real clean. i'm a fanatic when it comes to maintinance.

if not ...no biggy. i can still help you find a good ride

I appreciate the offer....sounds like a great deal but I am really hoping to buy something for $3000 or less. Also, I dont really need all the goodies. I just want to turn the key and go.

Thanks

i here ya...the warrior and the 400ex are great entry level quads. both will do well out on the trails. and both are bullet proof. the warrior has been around a little longer. the EX's should be hitting the market for cheap. Honda has just released it's replacement, the TRX450. so people will be trying to get out from underneath them soon.

warriors have reverse...Ex's do not (if thats imortant to you)

the Ex has a little more bite and handles better.

the warrior is old reliable...i never here of these things leaving people stranded. if i was going for a long ride deep in the woods. i'd take my warrior over my Raptor. for peace of mind. the warrior is essentialy a 2wd Wolverine.

What kind of riding do you do Spike? Trails Drag Jumps ??? Kuz is right a Warrior is a very bulletproof machine! Only problem on mine was the rectifier went out.
